All SuperGlide hitches will require the installation of a capture plate in order for the hitch to function, either the QuickConnect capture plate or in installations where a QuickConnect Plate may not be available, a Universal Capture Plate may be used. The “Universal Capture Plate” can be used for any trailer. On most king pin boxes, this is relatively simple, but can be time consuming to install. However, in cases where the fore-to-aft dimension of the king pin box is very short, installation of extension plates to support the capture plate, and knee braces to support the leading edge of the front extension plate will be necessary. The installation of the extension plates and knee braces requires additional time and effort to complete the proper installation.

E2 Weight Distribution with 2-Point Sway Control 1000 / 10,000 lb Trunnion

The new 10k E2 Trunnion hitch is designed to give you the great benefits of integrated sway control at an affordable price.

The 10k E2 hitch uses proven rigid bracket technology to give you an easy, flexible installation, and 2-points of friction sway control built right into the hitch itself.

Traditional chain style hitches are sometimes difficult to install because of the strict bracket placement requirements. The 10k E2 hitches rigid bracket system allow a much more flexible install to be able to avoid battery rails and propane tank supports on your trailer tongue, instead of having to spend time and money moving them.

The unique bracket design also allows the 10k E2 hitch to be used with many trailers that have aerodynamic cowlings, and even those with a V-nose where traditional chain style brackets will not work.

Rigid brackets also give the new 10k E2 hitch integrated sway control that does not require any add on devices. Simply lift the spring arms into place, and the sway control is in force. No additional hardware to store or hook up. And no restrictions on use like there are with traditional add-on sway bars. There is no need to stop and remove anything when towing in wet weather, or when backing up. There are also no turning radius restrictions.
