Through the use of a sensing device, the brake control can determine the tow vehicle’s rate of deceleration no mater what trailer is being towed and then apply the trailer brakes to match keeping the tow vehicle and trailer under control. Proportional controls deliver power to the trailer brakes in direct relationship to the actual physical deceleration of the tow vehicle.

Always make sure that Camco Wheel Chocks are used on the wheels of the trailer to keep it from any movement. The last thing you want is your trailer, fifth wheel, or horse trailer rolling away when hitching or un-hitching it from the tow vehicle. These Camco Wheel Chocks are made of durable hard plastic with UV inhibitors to protect it. This also allows for easy cleanup if there is mud or dirt on them after use.
These Wheel Chocks are perfect to keep your trailer in place while setup in a campground or while in storage. Don’t use wood pieces or logs that may allow movement of the trailer.
It is recommend having at least two, one on each side of the wheels to keep the trailer from rolling either direction.

With Prodigy no manual level adjustment is necessary, it adjusts itself to varying terrains as you drive. It is equipped with a sensor that detects the tow vehicle’s rate of deceleration, applies proportional braking to the trailer and features an exclusive BoostSM feature that gives users the ability to apply more initial trailer braking power (especially when towing heavier trailers). For backing into tough spots this is the only inertia control that works proportionally in reverse. A digital display depicts voltage delivery to the trailer during braking and displays continual diagnostics check for proper connection, shorted magnet condition, open ground and much more. A unique pocket mount allows for flexible mounting options (standard mounting bracket included). Prodigy includes a 3 ft. pigtail connector for ease of connection when using a vehicle’s brake control wire harness. A quick and easy disconnect feature allows users to remove the control when not in use and store in a supplied protective pouch. Prodigy meets National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) regulations regarding tow vehicle/trailer light activation. It also offers a limited lifetime warranty.
